sailors individual needs and have structured Thompson 7 packages
accordingly. All aspects affecting the one design integrity in
construction of a Thompson 7 will be supplied at the minimum base
boat level with the exception of the rig kit, priced separately.
The "2004 Thompson 7 Grand Prix" has top quality fittings that are standard, including Witchard clips, Frederikson ratchet blocks, Harken cleats, Ronstan high load chandlery, anodised alloy outboard bracket, spliced spectra control lines and halyards. Most customers will come to recognise the value of our Grand Prix option. At this stage a Thompson 7 will arrive rigged and race tuned by sportsboat professionals. Our substantial industry buying power is passed on to the customer in the form of huge savings on chandlery, ropes and rigging which often overcomes any benefits of fitting a boat out yourself. Over 90% of new sportsboats sold since 1996 have been to the grand Prix stage - buyers stating it to be the easiest and cheapest way to get a professionally finished, competitive boat on the water. A Thompson 7 can be supplied to any stage in between and custom quotes are available on application. |
