Utilising the high volume Elliott 7.8 hull, the ELLIOTT Escape has been designed with comfort and ease of sail as its primary features maintaining enough performance to remain within the .800+ sportsboat racing division. Performance cruising has been redefined. An advanced hand laminated, vacuum bagged hull produces the lightest, stiffest and most durable platform to support a balanced and moderately powerful rig and sail profile. |

Deck hardware systems are simple and functional for the
single handed sailor or a four person racing team. The sail wardrobe
consists of main, two jibs and fractional asymmetric spinnaker. The
300kg keel is raised un deck by a self tailing primary winch. The
dagger rudder is housed within stainless stock.
Rigging has been made easy on the ELLIOTT Escape ............ 20 minutes is all it will take to turn up, step the mast and launch. The Escape can be rigged by one person. Lifelines are provided to keep crew on the sleek and easy to talk around side decks. The cockpit is large enough for hectic mark roundings or lounging about at rest and comfortably seats six. a walk through transom makes boarding easy both on the trailer or backed against the beach. an anchor locker is situated on the bow and cockpit floor, storage compartments stow mooring lines, stern anchors fuel tanks, etc. |

The Escape
can be launched off its custom single axle trailer, featuring an
extendible drawbar for shallow ramps. the hull contains a lifting
point so the boat can be crane hoisted onto a club hardstand for dry
storage.
